The science-fiction future of the world with Suriname as the main character: NEW New Nickerie.
An afro-futuristic comedy experience that's glamorous, musical and critically smart!
Takes you on a spaceship heading to an almost perfect destination. In the year 2099 the country of Suriname has taken over the world. (Kind of what the Spice girls did in 1996 but with even more political implications.)
When the ship accidentally ends up in a part of the galaxy hidden by the government an adventure starts where you slowly uncover an inconvenient truth about the Surinamese empire...

about me
I am a lover of the arts, a gaymer, a popculture and political history geek.
When I create on my own initiative or am involved in someone else’s project it is key for me to be able to contribute in an intentionally inclusive and anti-capitalist manner.
With my comedic work I like to stay in the area of parody. Reflecting back the things of our society that concern us all. Like environmental racism, geopolitical inequality, queerphobia or how on the Real Housewives of Atlanta™️ (season 12 episode 13) Kenya had the “cookie lady” ambush Tanya over her husband’s alleged cheating while at lunch with also Cynthia and Eva. Who were supposed to support Tanya as a friend but proceeded to eat the cookies of the cookie lady further embarassing Tanya.
